Yes. FFD Notes works with ANY and ALL practice management systems (PMSs). The free FFD app keeps your notes securely on your iPhone or iPad, that can then be copied to your PMS.

If your practice signs a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), notes can also be automatically and securely synchronized for convenient browser access and easy transfer into any PMS in the operatory or practice.

No. There are no special commands or prompts to learn. Simply speak naturally with your patient, assistant or just to the app. FFD Notes listens and understands the conversation. The more context you provide through normal speech, the more complete and detailed the generated note will be.

FFD Notes generates structured clinical notes automatically in SOAP format. This follows documentation standards commonly used across healthcare and often expected by insurance providers, helping ensure all key information is captured and easy to review.

FFD Notes was built with HIPAA compliance as a core design principle.

By default, patient recordings and clinical notes remain on your iPhone or iPad and are not synchronized to the FFD cloud. This keeps your clinical data contained to your device and personal control.

If your practice chooses to use FFD's secure cloud features, you can enable them by signing a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Once enabled, notes are securely synchronized to provide secure browser access, making it easy to transfer completed notes into your practice management system.
